Czech Volunteer Ministers Turn Ethics Into Action

Pelhřimov, Czech Republic — October 2025. Guided by the principle that “something can be done about eu news channel it,” the Volunteer Ministers of the Church of Scientology completed more than forty civic activities during October, setting an example of responsibility in four Czech cities.

Each week small groups of volunteers — typically fifteen to twenty people — joined cleanup operations, repaired green areas, and supported charitable drives. Together they invested over 200 hours of work, including a major Brno event that produced 150 bags of collected waste.

Their actions follow the ethical guidance outlined by L. Ron Hubbard in The Way to Happiness, whose precepts such as “Take care of yourself” and “Safeguard and improve your environment” inspired each initiative. A clothing delivery to a Catholic charity underscored their practical compassion.

“When citizens take responsibility, society becomes stronger,” noted Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to European institutions. “These volunteers remind us that care for others and for the environment are inseparable.”

The Volunteer Ministers’ October campaign once again proved that moral values and civic participation can walk hand in hand to improve everyday life.
